The Church of the Renewal of the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ is a stone parish building used both in summer and winter. The church has three altars: in the cold part, the Renewal of the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ, in the warm part, in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and Saint Nicholas of Myra. The temple was built in 1759 with funds from the parishioners. Among the particularly revered icons are the icons of the Mother of God of the Three-Handed and the Sorrowful. The parish of Beloe has two chapels: one stone in the churchyard, built simultaneously with the temple, and another wooden one in the church market square, erected in 1892. In the village of Gridino, two versts from the church, there is a wooden chapel also built in 1892. The church owns 50 desyatins and 2136 square fathoms of land. There are church houses for the priest and the psalmist, one of which is rented out. The church capital amounts to 6200 rubles. The parish has 747 men and 878 women. The village is located in a mountainous area through which four major roads pass: to Yaroslavl, Lyubim, Danilov, and Poshekhonye. The village has zemstvo and parish schools. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, and the parish capital is 1900 rubles.
