The Resurrection Church in Zaluzhye, built of stone along with a bell tower, was erected in 1822 by the efforts of the parishioners. The fence around the church is also made of stone and covered with iron; inside there is a parish cemetery. In 1629, the estate belonged to Stepan Yakovlev Milyukov by a royal charter from 1614; it had previously belonged to his grandmother Anna Petrovna Shestova. The estate was located in the village of Snovidovo Zaluzhye on the rivers Andoma and Knyazhevka, where there were wooden churches of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Resurrection of Christ. The churches had icons, books, vestments, bells, and other church property belonging to the landowners and parishioners. In four cells lived the poor, who were fed by the church.

In 1660, in Snovidovo and Zaluzhye, priest Foma Agapitov served with his sons Ilya and Yakov, as well as priest Foma Stepanov with his nephew Pashka. Their neighbors included church clerk Rodka Stepanov, clerk Ivashko with his brother Mishka Vasilyev. There were four cells in the monastery where the poor lived.

In 1695, the Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos in the Andoma stan of the village of Snovidovo Zaluzhye is mentioned in the Sudislavl tithe.

In 1732, a second patriarchal memory of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the village of Snovidovo Zaluzhye was given to widowed priest Artemiy Yakovlev for three years.
