The church in the village of Yakovtsevo was built in 1819 and has three altars: the Resurrection of Christ, the Protection of the Holy Virgin, and John the Baptist. The land area is 37 desyatins. Parishioners live in eight villages: Yakovtsevo, Tekhtomerovo, Chudinovo, Babaevo, Bulakovo, Novoselki, Kozlovo, and Tokovaya. In total, there are 160 houses in these villages, where 367 men and 459 women live.
