In the village of Voskresenskoe, located on the Medozha River, stands the Resurrection Church, built of stone along with a bell tower. It was erected in 1815 with funds from the parishioners. In 1836, a summer church was added to the church, financed by the landowner and hereditary nobleman Pavel Chikhachev. The church is surrounded by a stone fence. The cemetery is located half a verst from the church, surrounded by a moat and a wooden fence. The church has three altars: in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. It is 98 versts to Kostroma and 46 versts to Kineshma.
