The stone church with one dome, connected to the bell tower, was built in 1854. It has two altars: the Resurrection of Christ and the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. The church is associated with 37 desyatins of land, and the parish consists of a single village.

In the late 13th century, this territory belonged to the Rostov prince Mikhail Konstantinovich, who founded the Church of the Resurrection of Christ here. After him, the land passed to Prince Yuri Alexandrovich, and then to Prince Ivan Konstantinovich. Tsar Ivan the Terrible transferred the village of Voskresenskoye to the Borisoglebsky Monastery, as confirmed by records in the surviving donation and feeding books of the monastery.
