Some researchers believe that the architect of this unusual church could have been Nikolai Alexandrovich Lvov himself. However, it should be noted that this master, who embodied the dreams and whims of wealthy clients in stone, passed away in 1803. Therefore, Priklonsky could have built the church in 1817-1818 only based on a previously created project.

It was reported that the church was erected in 1818 in memory of Priklonsky's parents and wife. The facade of the church is designed in a new style: it is a round church with a high pyramidal spire rising from the dome to the cross.

Under the church, a gravestone of Theodosia Mikhailovna was discovered, and the remains of Priklonsky's parents were transferred by Andrei Bogdanovich from the old church to this one, creating a family crypt. According to descriptions, the church goes underground almost to the same depth as its height. Vienna glass was installed in the church windows, and the stained glass was made of ruby glass. Now, one can see brown shards, as the glass was mixed with silver, which over time oxidized and changed color. Seven silver bells hung on the belfry, designed in the form of a triumphal arch, which was quite an expensive pleasure.
