The stone single-altar Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Nizhnekamsk was built in modern times and consecrated in 2000 by Archbishop Anastasius of Kazan and Tatarstan. Since 2005, the church complex, built with the funds of benefactors, has included the baptistery of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and a water blessing chapel. The Church of the Resurrection of Christ houses venerated icons of St. Seraphim of Sarov and Righteous Simeon of Verkhoturye. Currently, services are held on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Morning services begin at 7:00 AM, evening services at 5:00 PM. On weekdays, molebens are held at 8:00 AM. The church is open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM or until the evening service is completed.

The clergy of the church is led by the rector and dean, Archpriest Ioann Bukhnenko. Among the clergy are Priest Ioann Bukhnenko, Priest Konstantin Kozhevnikov, Priest Sergiy Bespalov, and Hierodeacon Dmitry Ibashaev.
