Maltsevo, a village in the Pilninsky district, is home to a monument of urban planning and architecture, the Resurrection Church. This structure dates back to 1823. According to local historian Vladimir Bakunin, the stone church in Maltsevo, which is not heated, was built by landowner Mikhail Stefanovich Brekhov. The church has three altars: the main one is dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ, the right chapel to the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God, and the left to the Archangel Michael.
