The church was built in 1763 with funds from Count Golovkin. It is made of stone. The two-light square of the church, elongated along the transverse axis, is topped with five domes. On the eastern side, there is an extended altar, and on the western side, a small refectory and a bell tower in the classical style. The frescoes were created in the mid-19th century and restored in 1925. The church has four altars. In the winter part, there is the altar of the Prophet Elijah, moved here after the closure of the neighboring church, which now houses a store. In the summer part: the central altar of the Resurrection of Christ, the northern chapel with the altar of St. Dimitri of Rostov, and the southern chapel with the altar of St. Alexius of Moscow. The church has never been closed, although according to other sources, it was closed in the 1930s and returned to the faithful in 1945.
