The church is one, with three altars: in the summer part, the Resurrection of Christ, and in the winter refectory, the right altar is dedicated to the Meeting of the Lord, the left to the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. The building is made of stone, with a bell tower of the same material. The church holiday of the Resurrection of Christ is celebrated on September 13. Voskresenskoe, Sonokhotsky parish, is ancient, mentioned in the revision tales of 1627.

Due to the dilapidation of the church, on September 2, 1799, permission was granted to build a stone church. In 1801, the stone refectory for the winter church was laid, and in 1802, the chapel in the name of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos was consecrated. In 1803, the chapel of the Meeting of the Lord was consecrated. The construction of the summer church began in 1808 and was completed in 1816. All work was carried out by the efforts of the parishioners.

In 1903, the stone church was expanded, and in 1905, the interior renovation of the winter church was completed. The especially revered icons include the ancient church icon, the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, the Archangel Michael, and the icon of the Vladimir Mother of God. On the church cemetery, at the site of the burned church, a stone chapel was built in 1816.

The church land comprises 59 desyatins and 2032 square fathoms according to the plan and land registry. Additionally, there is church estate land in the village of Andreevskoye, Panfilov volost, measuring 29 fathoms in length and 12 fathoms in width. There is a church house for the priest's residence, as well as a house for the church parish school. The church capital in bonds amounts to 1805 rubles. The parish has 555 men and 647 women. The village has a church parish school, church parish guardianship, and a sobriety society associated with it. The clergy staff includes a priest and a psalmist, and the capital for the needs of the clergy amounts to 2544 rubles.
