The Resurrection Church in the village of Novoselka Nerlyanskaya majestically rises on a high bank of the Nerl River, harmoniously fitting into the surrounding landscape. It is rightly included in the list of protected architectural monuments of federal significance. Together with the village of Novoselka and its unique nature, it is located not far from the village of Kideksha, just one and a half kilometers from the Church of Boris and Gleb, which is listed by UNESCO as one of the oldest examples of Russian white stone architecture. There is not only a visual connection between these two churches. Their bell towers resemble the concave tents of Suzdal in the shape of an inverted pipe, of the same height, and, surprisingly, both are tilted.

The Resurrection Church has a traditional four-part structure. It consists of a cubical two-tier main volume, a pentagonal apse, a small refectory, and a bell tower. The facades of the church attract attention with their decorations and unusual framing of the openings. The roofs have survived, although they are in unsatisfactory condition.
