The stone church, warm and cozy, was built by Colonel I. A. Pashkov in 1820. The altar in the church is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church land includes 1 desyatina of homestead and 33 desyatinas of arable and hay land. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, for whom public houses are provided on the church land. The parishioners are residents of the village of Sheremetyevo-Nikolskoye, which has 247 households with 787 men and 823 women, as well as the village of Yelizavetinsky Vyselok with 10 households, 57 men and 51 women. In total, the parish has 257 households, 844 men and 874 women. Additionally, there are 11 households of Old Believers of the Pomor type with 51 men and 50 women. The church-parish school has been operating since 1886 and is located in its own building.
