The village of Osinovka, located just over 30 km from Shadrinsk, along with the villages of Predeina and Pozorina, originally belonged to the parish of the Church of John the Baptist in the village of Sorovsk in the Shadrinsk district. By the beginning of the 20th century, the number of parishioners reached 3063 people, including 1503 men and 1560 women.

In Osinovka, there was a wooden chapel dedicated to the Vladimir Mother of God, in memory of the salvation of the residents from the raids of steppe nomads. The year of its construction is unknown, but in 1816, a stone chapel was built on the site of the dilapidated wooden one. From 1854 to 1857, the chapel was transformed into a church, but it could no longer accommodate all the believers. It was then decided to build a new stone temple.

On June 23, 1854, the first stone of the future church's foundation was solemnly laid. The construction was carried out by the community: lime, bricks, stone, and timber were purchased. Although work was only conducted in the summer, the church was built in three seasons. On June 22, 1857, it was consecrated in the name of the Vladimir Mother of God. The iconostasis was donated by the parishioners of the church in the village of Maslyanskoe, and in 1875 it was replaced with a new one, which cost 2400 rubles, a significant amount for that time.

The church was plastered and whitewashed, distinguished by its majestic dome with large windows, a tall bell tower, and a spacious altar. In 1865-1866, it was surrounded by a stone fence, and two stone outbuildings were built at the corners on the western side for storing church property.

The church owned two houses for the residence of priest Alexander Konev, a graduate of the Perm Theological Seminary, and psalmist Ivan Benediktov, who studied at the Dalmatov Theological School. In the village of Kolmogorova, there was a stone chapel in honor of the Protection of the Holy Virgin. Since 1894, a literacy school operated there without its own building. There was also a zemstvo school in the village, built with public funds in the 1880s.

In 1893, the wooden ceiling in the church, in the part that had been converted from the chapel, collapsed due to wear. Fortunately, there was no one in the church at the time, and no one was injured. The ceiling was replaced in the same year. In 1894 and 1895, the roof of the Mother of God Church was repaired and painted, and the walls were plastered and whitewashed inside and out with oil paint. The repairs were funded by the parishioners.

In the Osinovka parish, there were two schools: a zemstvo school built with public funds in the 1880s, and a church literacy school opened in 1894 in the village of Kolmogorova.

Since 2011, with the blessing of Archbishop Konstantin of Kurgan and Shadrinsk, the construction of an Orthodox church in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God began in the village of Osinovka in the Kargapol district. The previous church was destroyed during the Soviet years. On September 7, 2012, on the day of the commemoration of the meeting of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, a water blessing service was held at the construction site of the church in Osinovka, conducted by priest Alexander Dmitriev, the rector of the Epiphany parish in the village of Ust-Miass in the Kargapol district.
