The stone church with five domes and a multi-tiered bell tower was built in 1822 with funds from parishioners. The church has three altars: in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, the Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, and Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, a renowned miracle worker. The church was closed in 1921, but reopened its doors in 1991. Today, the church is active.
