The Church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God was located where the Cathedral of Christ the Savior now stands. Like the Assumption Cathedral in the Astrakhan Kremlin, this church had two levels: a winter and a summer upper level. The bell tower reached a height of 57 meters. In 1937, the largest church in the village was completely destroyed, and a water tower was built in its place. However, it did not stand for long and soon collapsed. The tower was not rebuilt, and instead, a public school was constructed. The school, however, also suffered, with all three floors collapsing from the side. Local authorities decided not to repair the building and erected a new school in another location. After that, the area remained abandoned, and nothing else was built here.
