The church dedicated to the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God is a stone five-domed structure with a tiered bell tower. It has two parts: a summer and a winter section. The church includes three altars: the main altar of the summer church is dedicated to the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, but it is currently closed for repairs. The second altar of the winter church is dedicated to the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the third is dedicated to Saints Zosima and Savvatiy, the Solovetsky Miracle Workers. Due to the repairs, the church is not used for services, which are held on festive and Sunday days according to church regulations.

The church has never been closed, and documents related to its history are currently being studied. The church was built between 1830 and 1832 on the site of an old stone church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, partially using its materials. The funds for construction were provided by the former owners of the village, Generals S.V. Neklyudov and S.S. Apraxin. The iconostasis was constructed between 1836 and 1841, and the painting was completed in 1869-1870. The church had a parish school, an orphanage, and a charitable institution.

The church served 22 rural settlements, where about 2100 people lived in 1908. The building has two zones: a heated 'warm' church with two chapels and auxiliary rooms, and an unheated 'cold' church with the main altar. The walls are made of brick on a lime-sand mortar, the windows have double glazing, the ceilings are vaulted, and the floors are wooden. Initially, the 'warm' church was heated by two Dutch stoves, but since 1917 they have not been maintained, leading to their clogging. In 1945, a wood-burning brick stove was installed for heating, and later a steel stove was added.

In the last ten years, a priest was assigned to the church, who rarely came from Yaroslavl or Myshkin due to the lack of conditions for permanent residence and poor transportation links. Since December 2006, the rector has been living permanently in Kharinskoye with his wife in a separate brick building that used to be a collective farm bakery.
