The village of Mogilskoye is located 200 versts from the diocesan city and 15 versts from the district center, situated on the shore of a lake known as Mogilskoye. According to locals, the lake got its name due to ancient graves that used to be on its banks. The water in the lake is of poor quality, attributed to pollution from manure and garbage, as well as the composition of the soil at its bottom and shores. Due to the rotting water, miasmas often arise, leading to various epidemics. The soil around the village is sometimes black earth, sometimes clayey and sandy, but all types require fertilization. The time of the village's founding is unknown.

Before the establishment of an independent parish in 1876, it was called the village of Mogilnaya and was part of the parish of the Shadrinsk Nicholas Church. However, even before it became an independent parish, it was attached to the parish of the village of Ichkinskoye after a church was built there.

Currently, the parish of Mogilskoye includes three villages: Raeva, located on the shore of the same Mogilnoye lake, Medvezhka, and Yerzovka, which are 4 versts from the village on another lake. Raeva was previously part of the Ichkinskoye parish, while Medvezhka and Yerzovka, like the village of Mogilskoye itself, belonged to the parish of the Shadrinsk Nicholas Church. The parish population consists exclusively of Russians, totaling 802 men and 816 women who are Orthodox, as well as 74 men and 80 women who have deviated into schism and belong to the non-priestly sect and the Netov agreement. The main occupation of the population is agriculture and the sale of agricultural products in the city. Recently, cottage industries have been developing in the village, including the production of felt footwear made from wool.

The church in the village of Mogilskoye is a single-altar stone structure dedicated to the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. It was laid in 1862 and consecrated in 1876, built with the funds of the parishioners. Despite their diligence and donations, the funds were insufficient to complete the church, so a stone bell tower was not built, and a temporary belfry on wooden posts in the churchyard serves as a replacement. The parishioners hope for the construction of a stone bell tower, for which a sum of 850 rubles is currently being gradually collected. The iconostasis in the church was transferred from the Shadrinsk Nicholas Church.

In 1881, the church was threatened by fire, resulting in the altar being shifted. In the same year, after the restoration of the church, a complete consecration was conducted.

Within the parish, there is a wooden chapel in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, built in the village of Medvedka in 1896.

There is a wooden barn on the church square with a cross, intended for the temporary storage of the deceased if the need arises. The parish has a church-parish school located in the village itself.
