Akhpaevka, a village in the Vorotynsky district, is home to a monument of urban planning and architecture, the Vladimir Church. This wooden temple on a stone foundation was built in 1853 through the efforts of the parishioners, and the refectory was added in 1862. The church has two altars: one in the name of the Vladimir Mother of God, and the other, in the chapel in the name of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. The church operated until 1978, after which it was closed. Nearby is the village cemetery. According to information provided by Alexander Dyuzhakov, the church building in Akhpaevka has collapsed.
