The church dedicated to St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles rises in the center of the ancient village of Vladimirovka in the Khorostyanka district. Its construction began in 1837 and was completed in 1844 thanks to the efforts of landowner Fyodor Vasilyevich Samarin.

The parish, named after St. Vladimir, functioned until the 1917 revolution, after which it was closed. During the Soviet era, the church building was preserved but used for grain storage. The temple reopened its doors in 1946.

The church is an example of high classicism architecture in Russian Orthodox construction. The building is made of stone and features a bell tower. Inside, the walls are adorned with ancient icons and masterful paintings, and the space has excellent acoustics.

Currently, the church dedicated to St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles is undergoing dome reconstruction. Unexplained phenomena sometimes occur here: the lamps by the icons of St. Vladimir and the Mother of God light up by themselves, and on Easter 2000, the Gospel exuded myrrh.
