The church was built in 2004-2005 as a single-altar church thanks to the efforts of Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas and Vladimir Nikolaevich Isaychev. Its architecture is an example of ancient Russian architecture.
Over time, it became clear that the church could not accommodate all the parishioners, and a reconstruction was carried out in 2013-2014. It is now a three-altar church: the main altar is dedicated to the holy righteous equal-to-the-apostles Prince Vladimir; the right altar, dedicated to the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, was consecrated on July 26, 2014, by Metropolitan Georgy, and the left altar, dedicated to the Prophet Elijah, was consecrated in May 2015.
A spring named "Prince Vladimir's" was also arranged and consecrated.
