In the village of Sadovy in the Suzdal district, a church is being built in honor of St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles. The construction is funded by donations from local residents and other private individuals. On September 14, 2014, during the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, Metropolitan Evlogy of Vladimir and Suzdal performed the consecration of the cornerstone. Priest Dmitry Utkin was appointed the rector of the church. On April 6, 2016, with the blessing of Metropolitan Evlogy, the archpriest Sergey Festinatov consecrated the church's crosses during a solemn service.
