The temple was founded in 2001. Its construction is being carried out on the initiative of the townspeople and with funds raised by the people. On October 5, 2017, on the day of remembrance of the holy martyr Benjamin, Bishop of Rybinsk and Danilov, conducted the consecration ceremony of the church.
