The Church of St. Basil the Great was built in 1841 through the efforts of the landowner Nikolai Dmitrievich Sokovnin with the support of parishioners. The church building is made of stone, sturdy and warm, with a stone bell tower. The church and the adjacent cemetery are surrounded by a fence. There is one altar in the church, dedicated to St. Basil the Great.

The church land covers 72 desyatinas and 1376 square fathoms. There are church houses for the priest, the psalmist, and the caretaker. The church capital in bonds amounts to 1775 rubles. The parish has 194 households, with 568 men and 638 women living in them.
