The construction of the stone church in the village of Pavlovsk was completed in 1813. It was built with the funds of Alexander Andreyevich Nechaev and designed in the classical style. The church and bell tower were made of brick. Previously, the church was surrounded by a stone fence, within which there was a parish cemetery. The church had two altars: in the cold section in honor of St. Basil the Great, and in the warm section, in honor of St. Alexander Nevsky. The church was closed no later than the 1930s, and for some time it was used as a bakery. Only the walls of the square and the refectory have survived to this day; the bell tower has been destroyed. The building is now abandoned, and the vaults have collapsed.
