The Basilian church on Talitsa, built of stone in 1802, was erected by the efforts of the parishioners. It has three altars: one in the cold part of the church, dedicated to St. Basil the Great, and two in the warm part. To the right is the altar in honor of St. Martyr Paraskeva, consecrated in 1897, and to the left, in honor of the Life-Giving Source of the Mother of God, also consecrated in 1897, on November 23. In the village of Potselovo, a stone chapel has stood since 1903.

The church owns 96 desyatinas and 1991 square fathoms of land. There are two church houses for the clergy. The church capital amounts to 1100 rubles in bonds. The Vasilyevsky burial site is located on a plain half a verst from the church, by the Talitsa River. There are 4 men and 8 women living in the burial site, and the total number of parishioners is 1222 men and 1450 women. In the village of Gorki, there is a parish zemstvo school. The clergy staff includes a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist, and the clergy capital amounts to 820 rubles.
