The Church of Saints Peter and Paul, or Péiter-a-Paul Kierch in Luxembourgish, is the only Russian Orthodox church in Luxembourg and is under the jurisdiction of the Western European Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.

In 1927, the first Russian settlers arrived in Luxembourg, numbering between 120 and 300 people. They came from Bulgaria, Italy, and Turkey, mainly consisting of remnants of General Kornilov's forces. The following year, an Orthodox parish was established here. Since the parish did not have its own building, a prayer house was temporarily arranged in a barracks.

For many years, the parish was led by Archpriest Sergey Pukh, who recalled that in 1975, local authorities allowed the purchase of a plot of land for a symbolic amount. In 1979, Archbishop Anthony (Bartoshovich) laid the first stone for the church's foundation. Archpriest Sergey Pukh, the initiator of the construction, invested personal funds from the sale of his house into the project. Architect M. Scholl developed the design of the church, which was consecrated on July 12, 1982, in honor of Saints Peter and Paul. Archimandrite Cyprian (Pyzhov) from Jordanville came to paint the frescoes.
