The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was founded in 1794 by the efforts of the parishioners. The building is made of stone and is sturdy. The church has three altars: the main one is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the right chapel is dedicated to Saint and Miracle Worker Nicholas, and the left chapel is dedicated to the Venerable Gennady, the Miracle Worker of Kostroma and Lyubimograd. The church is unheated, so services are held during the summer months.
