In 1878, a stone church was built in the village of Uspenka in honor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, funded by the parishioners. The parish included a wooden church of St. Nicholas, built in 1898, and two chapels in Zyryanka and Gilevo. The wooden church was used in winter due to its heating system, while the stone church was used in summer. In 1913, the church staff included two priests, a deacon, three clerks, and two sextons.

Opposite the stone church was a parish school, which became a ministerial primary school in 1914. The school had 47 boys and 31 girls enrolled, with the duration of study initially set at two years, later extended to three. The school operated until 1930.

During public and church holidays, residents from the entire volost would come to Uspenskoe. Two fairs were held annually in the village, on May 9 and November 6.

In 1990-1991, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was restored under the guidance of G.Y. Sotnikov and N.S. Saraev. After the restoration, there were plans to open a Bread Museum, but at the request of the residents, it was decided to restore the church's operations and create an Orthodox community. The first elder was N.A. Mankova. Services began in the church, and people returned ancient icons that had been kept in their homes.

On December 19, 1993, a meeting of parishioners was held, attended by 48 people. The meeting was led by Father Sergey Kudrevatykh. A church council was elected, and the elder, Nadezhda Stepanovna Karnaukova, was approved, who gladly accepted the parish and worked hard for its prosperity.

For a long time, the parish was overseen by Archimandrite Tikhon Bobov. Since 2002, the parish has been led by Priest Vyacheslav Gorshkov, and since October 1999, the elder has been S.G. Streltzova.

The first charter of the Uspensky Orthodox parish was registered on April 8, 1996, and re-registration took place on October 22, 1999.

In December 1993, funds were raised to purchase the first books for the library, with N.I. Zyryanova as the librarian. The library now has over 1000 copies of spiritual literature, and its librarian is N.A. Kamshilina.

The tradition of the Ilyinsky Cross Procession has been revived in the parish. In 2010, believers from the villages of Uspenka, Perevalovo, Ushakovo, Zubareva, the city of Tyumen, and other parishes in the Tyumen region participated in the Cross Procession for the tenth time from the Assumption Church in Uspenskoe to the Ilyinsky Church in Bogandinskoye. In 2008, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary celebrated its 130th anniversary.
