Before the construction of the church began at this site, a prayer service was held and a cross with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was erected. However, the cross was soon moved several times to the swamp. Ultimately, it was decided to build the church precisely where the cross miraculously appeared. The swamp disappeared, and a hill formed in its place, which is why the church was named "The Manifested." The construction took place in two stages: first, a winter building was erected, and then a summer one was added. The date 1782 was inscribed under the windows of the extension. The church functioned until the mid-1930s, after which it began to deteriorate. After World War II, it was dismantled, using the timber for household needs, and the iconostasis was moved to the Kulebaki church.

Today, on this site stands the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the construction of which began in 2007 thanks to private initiatives.
