The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in the village of Kubenskoe in the Vologda district of the Vologda region. This brick church is situated in a cemetery and was built in 1908 at the new village cemetery thanks to the efforts of the Kubenskoe parish guardianship and the support of merchant A.A. Burakova. The building has a low, single-domed structure and is designed in an eclectic architectural style. The church was closed no later than the 1930s and was used for economic purposes. In 1994, the building was returned to the faithful and renovated.
