According to the "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" for 1904, two stone churches were built in Kruglye Pany. The first, unheated, was erected in 1793 in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and the second in 1827, in honor of the Assumption of the Mother of God. Remnants of both of these structures have survived to our time.
