In 2007, at the initiative of S.A. Nosov, a large wooden church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built and beautified. It is located near the federal highway Moscow-St. Petersburg, at the turn to Chudovo. The church was consecrated that same year by Archimandrite Ephraim with the blessing of Bishop Lev, in the presence of Novgorod priests. Before the revolution, there was a stone church of the same name in Uspenskoe with five domes, which was destroyed and dismantled for bricks in 1937.
