The three altars of the church were consecrated between 1867 and 1898. During the Soviet era, the church was closed. In 2000, restoration work began, and in 2002, the church was returned to the Nizhny Novgorod diocese, and services resumed. Services are conducted in Church Slavonic. The rector is Priest Igor Pokrovsky.
