In 1993, Archimandrite Kirill Nakonechny, now the Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, consecrated the Assumption Church on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Immediately after this, services began in the church. Subsequently, the building was reconstructed several times to increase its capacity. The church acquired its current appearance in 2014.
