The wooden Assumption church with the chapel of the Moscow Saints, built in 1686, was destroyed by fire in 1939. In the 2000s, the construction of a new small wooden church began. It is a rectangular building with a gable roof and simple finishes. In the 16th-18th centuries, the Assumption Desert was located here, by the Great Lake, which was affiliated with the Spassky Monastery of Arzamas.
