The Church of John the Baptist in the village of Poltevo was built in 1782. The temple has two altars: one in honor of the Beheading of John the Baptist, the other in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The parish includes 61 dessiatinas of land and covers 23 villages. In total, the parish has 216 houses, where 791 men and 1037 women reside.
