By the blessing of Archbishop Kirill of Yaroslavl and Rostov and thanks to the efforts of the monastery's benefactor Viktor Ivanovich Tyryshkin, a monastery bell tower was built. The laying of its foundation took place in May 2004. The project of the bell tower was developed by architect Vyacheslav Izhikov. Although the forms of the bell tower did not replicate 17th-century architecture, they harmoniously complemented the newly constructed cathedral by the same architect.

The bell tower is a massive three-bay gallery with tiers for bells, topped with three domes. The bells, the largest of which weighs about 8 tons, were cast at the bell foundry in Tutayev under the guidance of Nikolai Shuvalov. The bells were consecrated on May 6, 2005, on the day of St. George the Victorious.
