Bogoyavlenie is a village in the Semenovsky urban district, previously part of the Semenovsky district. According to the order of the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage Protection of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural Trinity Church was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site. The church dates back to 1807. However, according to the data from the State Heritage Protection Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region, order No. 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
