The stone church was built in 1811 by landowner Alexey Alexandrovich Pashkov. It has three altars: the main, cold one is dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity, while there are two warm altars in the chapels. One is consecrated in honor of the three Holy Hierarchs of Moscow and all Russia, the Miracle Workers Peter, Alexius, and Jonah, and the other in honor of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow."

The church housed one of the most venerated icons among the faithful, the icon of the Mother of God "Deliverance from Diseases."

Today, the remains of the church are recognized as a monument of urban planning and architecture.
