The village of Troitskoye in the Bogdanovich district emerged on the river Bolshaya Kalinovka, previously known as Malaya Kalinovka, in the first half of the 17th century. Until 1747, it was named Nikitina, in honor of the first settler Nikita. During this time, the first wooden church dedicated to the Holy Trinity was built, which gave the village its new name. The stone three-altar church that exists today was laid on the site of the wooden one in 1799. The altar in honor of the Epiphany of the Lord was consecrated in 1805, and in 1810, the altar in the name of John Chrysostom. The main altar was consecrated in 1826.

The church functioned until 1934, when the ringing of bells was prohibited. In 1937, the church lost its domes, and in 1938 it was completely closed. During the Soviet era, the church building was used as a grain storage facility and a youth club. Until the end of 1994, it served as a dormitory for collective farm workers.

In January 1995, the management of the collective farm decided to gradually transfer the church building to the believers. Since 1996, regular services resumed in the church. In 2002, restoration work on the facades and interior began. By the end of 2007, a dome was installed on the central part of the church. In December 2011, a new iconostasis appeared in the church.

A notable resident of the village was priest Konstantin Alekseev, who arrived in Troitskoye in 1912. He served in the church until the arrival of the Bolsheviks, who tortured and shot him in the summer of 1918 near the village of Altynay, previously known as Antratsit. In 2002, the holy martyr Konstantin was canonized in the assembly of new martyrs and confessors of Russia by the decision of the Holy Synod.
