The church is dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity. Originally, it was wooden, but in 1836, thanks to the efforts of parishioners and other benefactors, a stone church with the same bell tower was built. The temple has two altars: in the cold part, in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity, and in the warm part, in honor of Abraham, the archimandrite of Rostov the Miracle Worker. The main holidays of the church are Trinity Day and October 29, the day of remembrance of the blessed Abraham, the archimandrite of Rostov the Miracle Worker.

The church in the village of Sumakovo has 37 desyatins of land, including homestead, arable, haymaking, and forest for firewood. The church also owns the wasteland of Molokovo with 72 desyatins of forest for the needs of the clergy. There are church houses for the priest, the psalmist, and for the placement of a literacy school. The parish has 199 men and 204 women.
