In the village of Semyonovsk, there is a stone church dedicated to the Holy Life-Giving Trinity. It is a parish church divided into summer and winter parts. The summer part has one altar in the name of the Holy Trinity, while the winter part has two altars, one of which is dedicated to the righteous Simeon the God-Receiver. The church was built in 1812 on the site of a wooden one and was renovated in 1885. In 1904, a stone chapel was also built in the village.

The church owns 35 desyatins of land and 4.5 desyatins of wasteland known as "Yakovlevskaya," which are jointly owned with other owners. The church capital amounts to 450 rubles in securities.

The church is situated on a hill, while the houses of the residents descend down the slope to the east. Half a verst from the village flows a small river, Kopsha. The village has a post and telegraph office. Since 1871, there has been a zemstvo school, a library, and a hospital reception room, maintained by the county zemstvo. The clergy staff includes a priest and a psalmist, and the parish capital amounts to 170 rubles in securities.
