Documents from the Patriarchal Treasury Order from 1628 mention: "the church of St. John the Theologian in the village of Ratmirovo, belonging to the Christmas Monastery, is subject to a tax of 6 altyns and 4 dengi."

Today, in the village of Ratmirovo, there is a stone church dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity, built in 1834 thanks to the efforts of a former parishioner, Antip Poroshin. The church also has a stone bell tower, and both are surrounded by a fence. The church has two altars: in the cold part, in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity, and in the warm chapel, in the name of St. John the Theologian.

Copies of the metric books since 1801 and confession lists since 1829 are kept intact. An inventory of church property, compiled in 1888, is also preserved in the church. The church owns a stone chapel in the village of Meshcherka. The church land includes 600 square fathoms of homestead land and 30 desyatins of arable and haymaking land; there is a plan and boundary book.

The clergy staff includes a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist. The income of the clergy amounts to about 920 rubles, obtained from the land and for sacramental services. The clergy houses are located on church land. The parish includes the village and the villages: Burikina, Novina, Yelkhovka, and the village of Meshcherka. The parish has a total of 195 households, 690 men, and 729 women. In 1884, a church-parish school was opened in the village.
