Church of the Holy Trinity in Pereslavtsevo

Фото 1
The church in the village of Pereslavtsevo was built in 1820 and had four altars: the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, Saint Archangel Michael, Saint Great Martyr George the Victorious, and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The church lands comprised 37 desyatins. The parish included six settlements: Pereslavtsevo, Kizino, Shapkovo, Starkovo, Ievtsevo, and Popovskoe. These settlements had 146 houses, inhabited by 416 men and 493 women.

The summer church of the Pereslavtsevo parish was a brick five-domed temple with a refectory and a bell tower. The temple had chapels dedicated to Archangel Michael and George the Victorious. Over time, the building was used as a warehouse and is currently abandoned.

During the Soviet period, the church suffered desecration and looting; however, its restoration began only after 2010.
