Trinity Church in Patakino

Фото 1
In the 19th century, classicism predominated in the estate architecture of Vladimir province. The Bezbrazov estate in the village of Patakino, located near Kameshkovo, was built in the first half of the 19th century by an unknown architect.

To this day, only a few buildings from the estate have survived, all of which are in a state of disrepair: the main house, the Trinity Church, and several service buildings.

During the Soviet period, the estate was used as a sanatorium. The Trinity Church likely served simultaneously as a dining hall and an assembly hall. After a new building was constructed on the territory of the former estate, a regional tuberculosis dispensary was established there, while the old buildings fell into decline. The Trinity Church was left abandoned, posing a sanitary hazard due to tuberculosis microbacteria. It has turned into a structure without windows and doors, with numerous structural damages.
