The village of Ozyorki is located in the Shatkovsky district. According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, the rural Pokrovskaya Church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1818. However, the order lost its validity on October 20, 2014, in accordance with a new order. The "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" for 1904 does not contain information about this object. Based on the characteristics of the construction, it can be assumed that the temple was built after 1904.
