Osinovka, a village in the Gagin district, is home to a monument of urban planning and architecture, the Trinity Church. According to the 'State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region', this object dates back to 1833. However, according to the 'Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese' from 1888, the church in Osinovka was built in 1883 as a temporary structure on the site of the church that burned down in 1867. The church in Osinovka resembles the church in the neighboring Sverbino but is larger in size.
