In the past, the village of Orzhevka was home to the estates of the landowners Naryshkins and Golitsyns, who actively contributed to the construction of churches and monasteries. The wooden Trinity Church was built in 1728 on the estate of D.K. Naryshkin. During troubled times, the church was closed, but in 1945, services resumed, although the church was closed again shortly after. Until 1992, it housed a grain storage facility. The Holy Trinity Church has preserved a unique iconostasis from the tsarist era, and many ancient icons were transferred there, saved by believers from destruction in monasteries and ruined churches.

The remnants of unexploded aerial bombs from the Great Patriotic War serve as a symbol of peaceful life and a memory of the soldiers who gave their lives for others, being used as bells in the functioning Trinity Church.
