Built in 1812 with funds from parishioners, the church replaced a wooden church mentioned in chronicles from 1625, 1629, and 1630 as property of the Uglich Protection Monastery. This stone structure features five domes and a tiered bell tower. The church had three altars: in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, the Protection of the Holy Virgin, and the Prophet Elijah. A church parish school and charity operated at the church. It was closed in 1935. According to local residents' memories, the church was barbarically destroyed: icons were thrown on the floor, chopped with axes, and burned inside. In 1983 and 1989, the building was restored with funds from the collective farm 'Victory' for use as a club, and it housed a storage facility. In 1993, the church was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church.
