Trinity Church in Onosovo

Фото 1
The stone church with one dome and a bell tower was built in 1757 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. It has one altar dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity. Until that time, there was no church here, so the Trinity Church lacks ancient icons, church utensils, and old printed books.

In 1896, a stone temple was erected in place of the dilapidated wooden church. The brick church in the neo-Russian style was built with funds from peasant S.E. Lebedev and others. It is a two-light square with a refectory and a bell tower. Inside, the Trinity and Nikolsky altars were arranged in one row. The church was closed no later than the 1930s and abandoned; only the walls remain, while the vaults have collapsed.
